We have an opportunity for a PurchaseLedgerFinanceAssistantto join our teamona fixed termbasisuntil 31stMay2027to deliver high quality financial services and business partnering on behalf ofbdht.
Working in a small team you will ensure the delivery of our businessobjectivesand uphold our commitment to our customers.
The role
In this role you willassistin loggingand processingall supplier invoices and payment documents for payment using our financial systems (currently DB CaptureeBis OpenAccountsand QL Housing Management System).
Withstrong communicationskills you will liaise with suppliers and managers over invoice queries and payment including the reconciliation of supplier statements.
Other responsibilities will include;weekly BACS/cheque payment runmaintainingcreditoraccountsmonitoringand reviewingPurchase Ledger reports processingVoid Energy invoices to ensureaccuratepayments to energy suppliersalong with othergeneral administrative dutiesasrequired.
About you
With some experience of working within a finance team the successful candidate will have working knowledge ofoperatinga purchase ledger.
You will be able todemonstrateexcellent attention to detail and have good ICT skills to include a workingknowledge of Microsoft Excel.
A relevant finance qualification AAT Level 2or equivalentandpreviousexperience using Open AccountseBISfinancial software and automatic invoice upload would be desirable.
