The Support ManagerwillfacilitateCommunity Supports for people with disabilities to live within their community focusing on choice and self-determination. The Support Manager will manage and coach Direct Support Professionals(DSPs)to coordinate person-centered planning activities with the Coordinator of Community Services and ensure compliance with applicable DDA and other regulations. The Support Manager will be a liaison between all stakeholders and Felloregardingservices and compliance with the person-centered is a member of the Leadership Council and is based on the Mid-Shore. This position isdeemedessential during weather emergencies
The ideal candidate brings experience working with people with disabilities and providing case management and/or planning MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) isrequired; experience withiCMdocumentation is a plus. Theydemonstratethe ability to exercise good judgment in sensitive situations work well under pressure in an ever-changing environment and are a team player able to respond to changes and/or crisis in a calm and productive manner. Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage positive communication indifficult situationsand the ability to provide candid/constructive feedback are critical for success in this role.
This position requires a high school diploma with at least five years experience working with people with disabilities with at least two years providing case management and/or planning facilitation. A bachelors degree and experience in person-centered thinkingisa plus. A valid Maryland Drivers License with no egregious violations isrequired.
