Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support our Waste Water products for commercial and business jet platforms within the Interiors business in Everett this highly visible role youll serve as a quality leader across manufacturing and development ensuring product integrity regulatory compliance and exceptional customer outcomes.

Youll partner closely with cross-functional teams site leadership and customers to drive quality performance lead critical MRB activities and support Program Management Team (PMT) and customer engagements. What You Will Do

• Lead and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop apply and continuously improve quality systems controls and documentation to meet internal customer and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze quality data to drive Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction and prevent customer escapes.
• Manage escape investigations coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformances and implement sustainable solutions.
• Partner with operations inspection engineering and program teams to ensure product conformance and effective change implementation.
• Support PMT and customer meetings maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to quality scorecard performance.
• Apply PPAP core tools (PFMEA MSA Process Flow Control Plans) to identify and mitigate product and process risk.
• Participate in internal customer and third-party audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Evaluate and support engineering change orders and new inspection methods or technologies.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with MRB and structured root cause analysis highly preferred
• Six Sigma / Lean process improvement experience (Green Belt preferred)
• Working knowledge of AS9100
• Experience with SAP
• Experience interfacing directly with customers
• Knowledge of measurement equipment and techniques (e.g. FARO calipers pin gauges)
• Experience in Aerospace ideal but not required
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

The salary range for this role is 95500 USD - 181700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
