• Plan and lead fun educational activities.

Success Traits for a Teen Care Professional

At Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM) we have fantastic staff who will teach you the skills you need on the job. However certain traits will help you thrive as a Teen Care Professional:

• You are fun energetic and enthusiastic.

• You are interested in pursuing a career in education or childcare (e.g. HDFS CDA Education Counseling etc.).

• You have a passion for building a stronger better community.

• You can communicate and collaborate effectively with children staff and parents.

• Minimum of 21 years old
  

Safety & Hiring Requirements

As part of our commitment to child and member safety all hires are required to complete the following:

• Provide three references. Professional references are preferred if you have work experience. If not non-family members over 18 who can speak to your character and professionalism are acceptable.

• Complete a drug screening for any illegal substances a background check and a fingerprint check.
