YOUR IMPACT:

As a Senior Robotics & Automation Technician you will play a key role in supporting the development implementation and optimization of automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency safety and quality. This position focuses on robotic programming system troubleshooting and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for hands-on technical work ensuring the performance and reliability of robotic and automation systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with programming installing and optimizing automated systems including robotics PLCs vision systems and peripheral control components.
  • Perform routine maintenance inspections and troubleshooting of robotic systems including microprocessors programmable controllers electronics and mechanical components.
  • Support the testing and validation of robotic assemblies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and refine robotic path motions to improve efficiency safety and quality.
  • Work closely with engineers to support the design configuration and application of robotic systems.
  • Provide hands-on support in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to automation equipment.
  • Assist in training team members on proper operation and maintenance of robotic and automation systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree with 5 years of experience working with robotics including Fanuc and ABB as well as PLC troubleshooting and minor programming with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical experience.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred.

Pay Range:

$64500.00 - $103500.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
