Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Building Services Draughtsperson to join their dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and coordinated drawings for building services projects working closely with engineers and project teams from concept through to construction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare detailed HVAC plumbing fire and electrical services drawings
Develop layouts schematics and installation drawings
Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (architectural structural civil)
Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards codes and client specifications
Maintain drawing registers and document control

Minimum Requirements

Relevant Draughting / Technical qualification
3 years experience in building services draughting
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous)
Strong understanding of MEP building services systems
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills

Advantageous

Revit MEP experience
Experience on commercial residential or industrial projects
Familiarity with South African building codes and standards
