Are you a current university student studying a business related degree and looking for a placement year where you can build real experience not just make the tea This General Business Placement Student role within Energy Solutions offers hands on exposure to how a growing energy business operates with support learning and responsibility from day one.

As a General Business Placement Student within Dawsongroup Energy Solutions you will support teams across the business while gaining a broad understanding of how a commercial energy operation works. This placement year role is ideal for a business student who wants variety responsibility and the chance to see how decisions are made across departments.

• Supporting day to day activities across multiple business areas
• Assisting with events projects and external enquiries
• Analysing data and helping teams use insights to improve performance
• Working closely with experienced leaders and wider teams
• Gaining exposure to financial systems and supplier activity

About You

You are currently studying towards a business related degree and are looking for a placement year position where you can learn by doing. You do not need to have done everything before curiosity organisation and a positive attitude matter most.

• Enrolled on a business or similar degree with a placement year
• Comfortable communicating with different people and teams
• Interested in how businesses use data and information
• Organised reliable and keen to get involved
• Happy working independently and as part of a team
