Asa Student Placement this position entails operating under the direction of a Senior Manager/Line Manager and assist that person in their duties. This would include the following activities:

Carry out woodland inspections and supervision

After appropriate trainingtoundertakedigital mapping work

Prepare contract documentation andutiliseScottishWoodlandsCapacity records system

Prepare draft operational budgets within financial limits of authority

Identify any business or sales opportunities

Monitor service performance with specific reference to work quality to ensure customer satisfaction

As a Student Placement you should be working towards a BSc HND or equivalent qualification in a Forestry related discipline or other relevant degree or qualification. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. A Full Drivers Licence with the ability to drive legally in the UK is essential due to the nature of the role.
