Job Summary
A high-performing secondary academy in East Sussex is seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join its successful Social Sciences Faculty ASAP. This is a full-time permanent opportunity within a well-supported multi-academy trust.

The Role
The academy is looking for a Business Teacher who can deliver engaging and exam-focused lessons that develop students commercial awareness analytical skills and understanding of enterprise. Business is a popular option at GCSE and A Level with strong uptake and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A Level
Planning and delivering high-quality structured lessons
Supporting coursework and examination preparation
Tracking progress and implementing targeted intervention
Contributing to curriculum development within the faculty
There may also be opportunities to support enterprise initiatives careers events and enrichment activities.
Candidate Requirements
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Business Economics or related field
Strong subject knowledge and assessment expertise
Excellent classroom management skills
Commitment to raising attainment and maintaining high standards
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
