Responsibilities

Support the design development systems integration and verification of advanced avionics systems including hardware software and network components.
Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects ensuring they meet quality standards.
Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data.
Development systems integration and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics application to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.



Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:
6 plus years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership including system design architecture integration implementation and troubleshooting.
Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.
Experience with model-based system design


U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. citizen U.S. permanent resident asylum or refugee status in the U.S or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.


WE VALUE:
Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
Experience in leading complex system integration projects.
Experience with Simulink
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Experience with working with sensors used for aircraft position navigation (air data AHRS GPS)
Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps gear cabin pressure FADEC)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers including aircraft manufacturers and operators and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems mechanical components and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
