Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Provide work direction to technicians and ensure tasks are completed within assigned timeframes
-
Coordinate with other departments to support on-time aircraft delivery
-
Install modify and fabricate wiring and electrical components fixtures and associated equipment using blueprints worksheets and engineering drawings
-
Train team members on assigned work tasks and contribute to the development of improved techniques and processes
-
Support Engineering in resolving technical issues and perform repairs following engineering guidance
-
Maintain accurate logs and records
-
Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and customer specifications
-
Enforce FOD prevention tool control 5-S and safety program requirements
-
Perform quality checks on work including peer work to ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection
-
Maintain shop equipment and assigned tools
-
Assist with shift coordination in the absence of the team leader
-
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events
-
Support team coordinator duties as needed
-
Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and two (2) years of related work experience; or four (4) years of experience in an avionics or electronic career field
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
-
Working knowledge of company policies inspection procedures and process specifications
-
Ability to transition between tasks with minimal short-term impact to schedule and production goals
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Basic computer keyboard proficiency
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
