We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Windows & RHEL Services Squad. This role focuses on building maintaining and providing L2 operational support for enterprise Windows and Linux platforms across bare metal and virtualized environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign build configure test and maintain Windows and Linux platforms based on agreed requirements.
Implement and operate solutions in a DevOps/Agile squad model.
Deploy infrastructure and software following change management processes.
Provide L2 support for Windows/Linux platforms and related infrastructure components.
Troubleshoot complex OS and performance issues and drive continuous improvement through automation and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with internal/external customers and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Create and maintain technical documentation; prepare and deliver customer presentations as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend support when required.
Windows & Linux
Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration
Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and OS deployment
Advanced troubleshooting for OS/performance issues
Storage & Infrastructure
Knowledge of enterprise storage protocols: NFS SMB iSCSI
Filesystem administration and tuning: NTFS XFS ext4
Experience with backup monitoring and hardware lifecycle processes
Virtualization
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
Networking
Solid fundamentals in TCP/IP routing DNS load balancing
IT Operations
Understanding of ITIL and operational change management principles
Automation/Scripting: Ansible Python
PowerShell
Familiarity with YAML/JSON and Git version control
Adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment
Strong ownership and accountability
Clear communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in an Agile squad model
