The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Advising clients on all tax aspects of buy-side and sell-side transactions including due diligence structuring SPA/transaction documentation and financial model review support as well as tax advisory and compliance activity.
- Supporting tax advisory engagements assisting our clients on a wide variety of matters to provide solutions and navigate complexity.
- Supporting tax compliance and returns for your portfolio of clients which typically have been or will be involved in transactions.
- Helping clients navigate the complexities of domestic and international tax world.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
- Contributing to tax policy initiatives and discussions.
- Providing clients with expertise to help them create value and achieve their commercial objectives.
Qualifications :
- Must have graduated from a recognized university in Ghana or overseas with a minimum of second class upper in Accounting Taxation Management Economics Law or a related discipline.
- Qualified member of ICAG CITG ACCA CIMA or other relevant recognised professional body.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in areas of tax consulting and M&A tax advisory.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Clear understanding and application of the tax advisory guidelines and practices
- Good logical reasoning problem solving and analytical skills.
- Sound writing oral communication and presentation skills.
- Data management and analysis experience.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computer packages such as Microsoft Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Access etc. Very good use of PowerPoint and Excel is a strong advantage.
