You will also be assisting in employee selection retention continuous operational improvement. You will be reporting to the General Manager while assisting with the supervision of approximately 15-20 crew team is made up of committed caring and energetic individuals who make every Dennys location the great and diverse place it Youll Do You will prepare and interpret financial and operational reports analyze data and develop solutions to ensure operating goals are achievedYou will assist the General Manager by overseeing assigned shifts; monitors brand standards execution and adherence by directing hourly staff to achieve guest service standards in a clean and pleasant environmentYou will develop and coach hourly employees on brand standards internal policies and procedures and other guest focused programs to exceed guest service will work with the General Manager to attract hire onboard and retain the best hourly talentYou will work with the General Manager to develop hourly employees through corporate training programs individual development plans and system will help maintain compliance with Dennys Brand Standards including all provincial local and federal regulationsYou will demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and Dennys Core Values when interacting with othersYou will perform other duties as required or assignedWho You AreYou have 2 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry; leadership/operations experience strongly preferredYou are an effective communicator in English both orally and in writingYou have the agility to interpret and analyse financial statementsYou are a team player collaborative and attentiveYou have excellent guest service and people skillsYou are self-motivated organized and able to multitask effectivelyYou are licensed to operate an automobile without restrictions and have reliable transportation to meet banking obligationsYou must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
