This role will be responsible for designing and implementing backend solutions that extend Jiras capabilities integrate with enterprise systems and support complex workflows and automation. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Jira APIs plugin development and backend technologies along with a strong understanding of Agile and DevOps Requirements:Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.8 years of experience in backend development ideally with exposure to Jira engineering. While deep Jira expertise is not required strong application development skills are in Java and experience with Atlassian SDK and Jira REST with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy Python Shell) for with Agile methodologies and DevOps Jira architecture workflows permissions and custom with database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and data problem-solving and communication 8140 (IAT Level II) Minimum Requirement - Security Preferred:MS / MA in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business Program Management or other related CISSP or relevant IT certification. Key Responsibilities:Design develop and maintain custom backend solutions for Jira using Java REST APIs and Atlassian and maintain Jira plugins and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g. Confluence ServiceNow GitHub Jenkins).Automate Jira workflows permissions and configurations to support evolving business with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable backend and optimize Jira performance scalability and data integrity and security across Jira instances and technical support and troubleshooting for Jira-related backend current with Atlassian product updates and best skills / Responsibilities:Must have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word Excel PowerPoint MS Project).Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively as well as having the ability to lead a team if have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully cordially and freely with people (customers employees and vendors inclusive).Must be able to motivate other employees when neededMust exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to be able to work with little or no possess good reasoning and problem-solving have the ability to work as a link person or middle person amongst customers employees and have excellent time management ability to successfully manage orders and :Enrolled in CE with a SF86 in the last 12 months.
