What Youll Do | Summary/Objective: The Business Analyst I is the first level in a four-level job family of Business Analyst roles. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Creates artifacts helpful for the pod/project/initiative including but not limited to feature maps process flows visual mockups and high-level requirements.
- Ensures the team effectively categorizes work into manageable tasks that can be included and tracked in an agile framework methodology. Participates in cross-functional scrum teams as required. Ensures the teams assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Plans and conducts requirements and design sessions for business requests.
- Performs gap analysis and compares and contrasts products against business area requirements for internally developed applications.
- Collaborates with QA in developing the QA Test Strategy.
- Owns the creation of the UAT Test Strategy & leads execution of User Acceptance Testing with each business area. UAT results are compared against requirements results are updated and defects are tracked.
- Manages small scale projects both in size and complexity from concept to implementation with or without a Project Manager. For change management the individual may collaborate with their manager on how to address challenges.
- Communicates the progress of a project to key stakeholder throughout the SDLC.
- Manages activities to establish a target implementation date and escalate blockers as they arise.
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned by the manager.

What Youll Need | Education and Experience Requirements: - 0-2 Years of Experience (as a BA or in Financial Services)
- Analytical Business and Project Management skills with a focus on financial services applications.
- Some knowledge of applicable systems reporting capability and user functionality of systems.
- Some experience in an Agile environment or knowledge of Agile theory.
Additional Eligibility Requirements: - Performs the Project Management Function as required for medium size projects.
