About the Role
As an Operator youll prepare load inspect and run parts on 14 production machines with moderate supervision. Youll work from written instructions and collaborate with supervisors and leads to maintain quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machines; perform minor maintenance
- Inspect parts record metrics and maintain accurate documentation
- Use handheld measuring instruments and support less experienced operators
- Maintain safety quality standards and a clean work area
- Cross-train on advanced measurement tools (CMM)
- Comply with ISO and ITAR regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 years of machining experience or a Machine Technology certificate
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Basic math skills (including fractions and decimals)
- Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 30 lbs
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving parts chemicals and loud noise
- Requires use of clean-room apparel and safety gear
