We are seeking an ATE Operator 1 to join our team. This role will involve supporting post-silicon lab operations executing performance and power testing and assisting engineering teams with validation and debugging of semiconductor products. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor lab environments hardware testing system architecture and basic Linux/Python knowledge along with a passion for supporting high-performance computing and hardware validation processes.

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: Front-end Night Shift Sunday Monday Tuesday and every other Saturday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Job Description

The ATE Operator 1 is responsible for supporting post-silicon laboratory activities focused on performance power and thermal characterization of next-generation CPU and GPU products. The ATE Operator 1 will assist engineering teams in setting up measurement platforms executing engineering test requests and supporting debugging activities for pre-production semiconductor devices.

The ATE Operator 1 plays an important role in ensuring accurate test execution and reliable performance validation for hardware components. The ATE Operator 1 will help operate automated test equipment monitor testing processes and assist engineers in identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues within the lab environment.

Additionally the ATE Operator 1 will contribute to maintaining test systems recording results and ensuring proper documentation of testing procedures. The ATE Operator 1 will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support ongoing validation efforts and ensure the reliability and efficiency of testing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain power and performance measurement platforms used for semiconductor testing.

Execute engineering test requests related to performance power and thermal characterization.

Support lab debugging activities by assisting engineers in identifying system or hardware issues.

Operate automated test equipment and ensure accurate data collection during testing procedures.

Monitor and document test results and maintain organized testing records.

Assist with configuration and maintenance of lab systems and testing environments.

Troubleshoot hardware and system issues during validation testing.

Support validation of pre-production CPU and GPU products through structured testing processes.

Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure testing systems are functioning properly.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Semiconductor Lab or Manufacturing Environment 2 years experience
Experience working in semiconductor testing labs electronics manufacturing environments or hardware validation labs.

PC System Architecture Knowledge 2 years experience
Understanding of computer hardware components system architecture and basic system configuration.

Linux Operating System Basics 1 year experience
Basic knowledge of Linux environments command-line operations and system usage within lab environments.

Python Programming Basics 1 year experience
Basic scripting knowledge in Python to support test automation or data processing tasks.

Laboratory Testing & Validation 2 years experience (Preferred)
Exposure to performance power or thermal testing environments for hardware validation.

Microsoft Office Tools 1 year experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint for documentation reporting and data analysis.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and analyze test results.

Basic Mathematics & Data Accuracy
Ability to perform calculations and analyze test metrics accurately during lab testing.

Communication & Team Collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-based engineering environment.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
