Job Summary
Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist L2 to support our government customer in Washington DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The CGI Specialist Level II will provide comprehensive analytical support and intelligence gathering while maintaining advanced firearms analysis capabilities. As an Alaska Native Corporation subsidiary we combine investigative expertise with our cultural values to deliver superior intelligence Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Intelligence Analysis:Provide gun intelligence analyticsConduct NIBIN hit analysisCreate investigative link chartsAnalyze firearms trafficking dataGenerate actionable intelligenceSupport trace analysisCompile investigative leadsTechnical Operations:Process IBIS evidence entriesPerform correlation reviewsConduct firearms identificationExecute e-Trace operationsManage NESS data entryHandle/test firearms (if approved)Provide IBIS training (if NAT certified)Analytical Support:Gather crime reportsAnalyze trace dataMonitor trafficking trendsProcess obliterated serial numbersGenerate intelligence reportsMaintain data accuracySupport investigationsRequirements:Firearms knowledgeData analysis proficiencyStrong analytical abilitiesIntelligence gathering expertiseProject management skillsDocumentation expertiseTechnical aptitudeCommunication excellenceProblem-solving capabilitiesAttention to detailSafety consciousnessTeam collaboration abilitiesMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt.
