Bayside is located in Mordialloc and offers all levels of permanent respite and palliative care encouraging independence and lifestyle choices whilst also being recognised for its expertise in caring for people living with Dementia. We are conveniently located next to Mordialloc train station.

About the Opportunity

Personal Care Assistants are responsible for providing quality care support and recreational activities to our homes residents.

• Provide care in line with residents individual care needs
• Report all incidents and changes in resident behaviour to the nurses
• Complete all documentation and ensure compliance with relevant processes
• Establish positive relationships with residents

About You

To be successful youll need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care Individual Support or equivalent
• Previous experience in working with residents with Dementia (preferred)
• Commitment to work casual shifts with flexibility to pick up additional hours whenever possible
• Ability to communicate and build rapport with residents families and team members
• Free seasonal flu vaccination

The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check and may be required to undertake a NDIS check.
