Head of Admissions – Independent School – Bristol

A highly regarded independent school in Bristol is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Admissions to lead and develop the schools admissions function. This is a senior role with responsibility for driving pupil recruitment managing the end-to-end admissions process and acting as a key ambassador for the school.

The Role

You will have overall responsibility for admissions strategy and operations ensuring a professional efficient and welcoming experience for prospective families from first enquiry through to enrolment. Working closely with the Head and senior leadership team you will play a central role in shaping the schools future intake and sustaining strong pupil numbers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the admissions process across all entry points

• Developing and delivering admissions and recruitment strategy

• Managing enquiries visits assessments offers and enrolments

• Acting as a key point of contact for prospective parents and pupils

• Organising and hosting open days tours and admissions events

• Using data to forecast demand track conversion and inform planning

• Working closely with marketing colleagues on messaging and outreach

• Managing admissions systems records and compliance

• Line-managing admissions staff where applicable
