About the role
Wereexcited to be recruiting for several Neighbourhood Housing Assistants due to growth in the team across our key localities (based from Cardiff or Newport offices).
This includes:
One permanent role working 2 days per week(15 hours) - Cardiff
One fixedterm contract role working 3 days per week for 6 months(Maternity cover)(22 Hours) - Cardiff
Two fulltimepermanentroles(37 hours) - Newport / Cardiff
One30hour permanent role- Cardiff
These roles offer agile working with a blend of home office and site-based activity. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle isdesirable.
Day to dayyoullcarry out a variety ofadministrativetasks supporting lowlevel ASB cases acting as the first point of contact for customer queries completing compliancerelated tasks (such as asbestos checks) and managing tenancy handle minorhousing enquiries and provide general office administration support.
Skills and Experience Needed
You willbringexperience delivering effective administrative and service support in a fastpaced customerfocused environment working confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Strong IT skills including MS Word Excel and Outlook are essential along with the ability to work collaboratively use your initiative and contribute to problemsolving. You will take a personcentredfriendlyand supportive approach to customer service and be able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. Excellent organisation attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive or challenging conversations with care are will be proactive and adaptable comfortable working independently as well as within a team and able to takeaccurate reliable notes with confidence.
