Position Summary
The Dispatcher serves as a key point of communication for transportation and guest service requests. This role involves receiving hotel guest or associate requests from various channels and coordinating the timely and efficient use of resources (associates service vehicles other materials) to appropriate locations. The Dispatcher ensures efficient resource allocation and provides an elevated level of service that supports overall guest satisfaction.
- Receive document and dispatch guest and associate assistance requests via radios telephones and/or computer systems
- Coordinate with resort departments (Bellmen Front Desk Housekeeping Engineering Security/Loss Prevention) to resolve service requests.
- Monitor and adjust resource allocation to maintain efficiency and responsiveness according to work orders and/or resources available.
- Track and maintain records of all requests services performed and related communications
- Generate and compile daily weekly and monthly reports on service trends and department activity
- Communicate important operational updates to appropriate team members (VIP arrivals scheduled events service hours etc.)
- Address special guest requests with personalized attention and care
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with service outcomes and proactively address additional needs.
- Handle incoming calls and messages professionally and accurately relay information clearly and legibly.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming tone in all guest interactions ensuring the highest standards of service.
- Adhere to all company and client policies and standards including grooming standards confidentiality guidelines professional verbiage etiquette etc.
- Perform physical requirements of the role including standing sitting or walking for extended periods; lifting and moving items up to 10 pounds as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors
