Job Summary

Job Title:Dispatcher

Job Description:

All Year Cooling and Plumbing is seeking organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Dispatcher. You will be responsible for coordinating service calls scheduling technicians and ensuring efficient deployment of our field personnel to customer locations. Your role is crucial in optimizing our operations ensuring timely service delivery and maintaining our companys reputation for excellence. We serve both South Florida and the Gulf Coast including the Naples area.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Receive and process incoming service requests via phone email and online scheduling systems
Assign and dispatch technicians to service calls based on location priority and technician availability
Monitor technician locations and job progress throughout the day to ensure efficient routing and scheduling
Communicate service appointment details to customers and provide estimated arrival times
Coordinate emergency service calls and prioritize urgent customer needs
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities work orders and technician schedules
Update customers on technician delays or schedule changes in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with customer service sales and field technicians to optimize service delivery
Track parts inventory and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure technicians have necessary materials
Monitor compliance with safety protocols industry regulations and company policies
Stay updated on company services service areas and operational procedures

Qualifications:

Proven experience in dispatching logistics or operations coordination preferably in the HVAC plumbing or similar service industry
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in dispatching software GPS/routing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills and geographical knowledge of service areas
Ability to work flexible hours including day and night shifts weekends and holidays
