Role Details
This pivotal role within the rPlastics team at Smithfield focuses on improving operational performance through continuous improvement systems development and process standardisation. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will partner with production maintenance engineering quality and safety teams to optimise processes implement Lean manufacturing practices and embed data-driven decision making across the site.

You will champion Lean and Six Sigma methods develop robust KPI tracking implement visual management and 5S and ensure compliance with quality and sustainability standards. You will lead cross-functional CI projects deliver training and foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement across the site.

What You Will Bring

• Proven Continuous Improvement experience in manufacturing recycling or allied industries
• Engineering or manufacturing-related degree
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Advanced data analysis capability (Excel Power BI SAP)
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma DMAIC 5Y and SPC (Green/Black Belt highly regarded)
• Exposure to quality and food safety systems (ISO9001 FSSC22000 HACCP)
• Analytical detail-focused and outcomes-driven
• Experience developing and delivering training programs
