What You Will Do:

  • Review and maintain contractual entitlements for Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) pipelines while providing entitlement support to other System Planning engineers.

  • Develop and improve processes for updating contractual entitlements in data tables and hydraulic models.

  • Help manage hydraulic pipeline models by collecting recent contract information for capacity determination.

  • Liaise with other Enbridge functional groups within Major Projects Operations including Gas Control and Business Development to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables.

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree from accredited University.

  • 0-2 years of work experience post-graduation related to pipeline hydraulics/design or natural gas industry.

  • Ability to resolve issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge.

  • Effective communicate skills to discuss technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.

Working Conditions:

  • 95% of work is office based.

  • 5% of time is in the field scoping projects meeting with potential shippers or supporting construction and commissioning activities.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
