What youll be doing

Youll be joining CIBCs Financial Crimes & Enterprise Risk Technology. Youll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBCs enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Business Systems Consultant (BSC) youll support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. Youll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How youll succeed

• Understanding and documenting requirements - Lead and work closely with business partners to gather complicated Business Requirements Business Process Flows Business Process Modeling and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships lead discussions listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.

• Compliance Experience - Focusing on compliance and surveillance as business function continues to expand and grow. Gather create and document current and future business process flows new initiatives and plans.

• Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification solution requirements and quality assurance.

• Business Technology - Strong communicator presentation skills and very comfortable conducting business reviews and walkthroughs.

Who you are

• You have the knowledge. 5 years experience in Compliance and Audit. It will be an advantage if you have experience and fully understand Trade and Market Monitoring and Surveillance: Unethical trading practices fraud market manipulation insider trading money laundering and/or behavioral patterning across all asset classes and products. Its an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies and Application and/or Architecture Development.

• You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science Business and/or a related field and youve spent at least 5 years in a BSA role leading projects and designing solutions.
