Outpatient Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine Required

Required Procedure/Duties:
Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
Small Bowel Biopsy
Lower GI Endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy
Liver Biopsy
Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy with Foreign Body Removal with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser) with Injection of Varices with Banding of Varices with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Diagnostic Therapeutic with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
On average 8 procedures per weekend: GSI Hepatology RGA Surgery Colon Egd ERCP
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Rates to Submit:
24 hr call - flat rate (to include all Call Back hours)
Travel Reimbursement Information:
$150/night lodging cap
Standard/economy bookings only

Requirement description :
Board Certified - REQUIRED
VA license - REQUIRED
Flu shot - REQUIRED
COVID Vaccine - HIGHLY PREFERRED
Must be available to cover open shift to be considered - REQUIRED
Clean malpractice history required for temp privs - REQUIRED
Provider must be able to perform ERCP(ERCP Certification) - Must confirm at time of name clear - REQUIRED no exceptions
Virginias cap on medical malpractice damages increases every year by $50000. Effective 7/01/2023 all providers are expected to have 2.6M coverage
Must have clean background to be considered - REQUIRED
The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
