About the Opportunity
Our EnergyCo NSW project procurement branch is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic Business Systems Analyst to join our collaborative team of five where you will play a pivotal role in driving system and process improvements across the this role you will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements optimise workflows and deliver innovative solutions. You will also manage process improvement projects oversee data migration efforts and help ensure that our operations align with the organisations strategic goals. About You
Youre a strategic thinker and a natural communicator skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders users and technical teams. You thrive on understanding the intricacies of business processes especially in areas like finance procurement and system workflows. With your expertise in ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a major plus) youll work closely with teams to assess existing processes identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions that enhance productivity and align operations with organisational goals. Youre not just about identifying gaps - youre about driving real measurable improvements that reduce costs streamline systems and deliver value. Your ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation ensures everyone is aligned and empowered to make informed decisions.
With your process-oriented mindset youll help teams navigate data migration strategies ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption. Youre hands-on but you also see the big picture -managing project timelines resources and budgets to ensure successful delivery. Youre a team player eager to collaborate and share your expertise and youre committed to providing tailored training and support to ensure the business is equipped to thrive with new systems.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Business or related field and/or equivalent knowledge skills and experience.

Who we are
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Governments Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap which aims to transform the states electricity system into one that is cheap clean and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020 EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the States first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs) which are located in the Central-West Orana New England South West Hunter-Central Coast and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities investors and industry to investigate plan recommend and coordinate generation storage and network infrastructure projects.
