Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GFyoullexperience one-on-one mentorship work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential professional development opportunities and the chance to network with executives.

Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries Program Phoenix PMO isseekingaskilled and motivatedITBusiness AnalystSummerInternto become part of our fast-paced and innovative team.The role willsupport theProgram Phoenixinvarious ways taking on level-appropriate projectsend-to-end.The ideal candidate is highly organized tech-savvy and passionate aboutleveragingdata and process improvements to enhanceprojects whileeffectively communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Utilize intermediate Excel skills to analyze transpose and report data across multiple formats and worksheets.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including vendors partners and internal managers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates to Partners and PMO leadership while escalating issues risks and impediments for timely resolution.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • EducationAt least a sophomore at time of applicationand actively pursuing a BachelorsinBusiness ITor related fieldthrough an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA andbe ingood academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to workat least40hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace school projects competitions etc.
  • Project management skillsi.e.the ability to innovate andexecute onsolutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Experience in a PMO or IT project environment with familiarity in SharePoint Windows and Microsoft Project; background in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success working in remote or distributed teams with strong crossfunctional collaboration and communication skills.
