Job Summary

Locum - Physician - Radiology in Springfield MA

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the heart of Springfield Massachusetts! Our facility is a well-respected hospital and outpatient center providing high-quality care with an average ER volume of 120 patients per day. We are currently seeking a Locum General Radiologist to start as soon as credentialed working alongside a dedicated team of radiologists in a supportive environment. The practice encompasses a diverse patient demographic including adolescents children adults and geriatrics and utilizes advanced documentation systems such as Epic PowerScribe and PACS.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
Collaborate with a team of eight radiologists facilitating effective patient care.
Utilize imaging technologies to arrive at accurate diagnostics.
Engage with support staff to streamline operations and enhance patient experience.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Prior experience or demonstrated interest in Nuclear Radiology specifically thyroid imaging.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage a diverse patient population.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Massachusetts license or pending MA application with submission date and estimated approval at the time of name clear.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
A Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the same month as submission is required.
25k Conversion Fee required.
