About the role:
The Project Officer Prevention & Education provides critical support to the Coordinator Governance and Policy ensuring effective delivery of initiatives and programmes of work across the University. This position will manage the coordination of the Harassment and Discrimination Contact officer network and play an important role in overseeing child-safety compliance activities including monitoring adherence to the Universities child safety policies reporting obligations and risk-management requirements. The role will contribute to broader governance and compliance functions by supporting policy development implementation and review and by ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory frameworks. The position will be required to stay up to date with external trends insights and information to ensure best practice approaches are recommended and considered. A sound understanding of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 along with relevant childsafety and safeguarding legislation will be required to provide accurate guidance on governance and policyrelated compliance matters including the management of complaints under Equity and Inclusion policies and procedures.
