Job Description
Saint Lukes Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination research studies provide patient and family education scheduling triage assist with procedures and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.
HOURS: Monday Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park North Kansas City Lees Summit

Responsibilities:
- Phone Triage
- Schedules emergent-need appointments.
- Patient follow-up calls.
- Patient education on particular procedures and processes.
- Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
- Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
- Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.
