Job Summary
Job responsibilities include those listed in the competency document but are not limited to assessing the needs of the patients as assigned based on data collected through history observation physical examination and analysis of diagnostic data while also providing appropriate age specific nursing interventions which are consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice. Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring compassion and respect for patients families and appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and standard work in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality to the overall performance of the department through precepting and mentoring novice to the department growth and performance through hospital-system initiatives cultivating nursing involved Evidence Based continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational float to assist in other like units as all other duties as assigned.
