Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology
Summary
Join a dynamic medical team in a state-of-the-art facility located in Bismarck North Dakota. This position involves a medical direction practice model with oversight of CRNAs at a ratio of no more than 1:4. As a physician you will provide care in regional anesthesia manage labor and delivery coverage and handle all cardiac cases. Familiarity with common regional blocks for orthopedics is important. The facility supports a collaborative environment and you will work alongside experienced CRNAs and OR staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide medical direction and oversight of CRNAs in a variety of anesthetic procedures.
- Administer regional anesthesia and manage labor and delivery cases.
- Perform cardiac anesthesia cases and be on call for emergencies.
- Participate in both in-house and home call schedules as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Help orient new staff and provide training as necessary.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Valid ND license or IMLC.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Current BLS PALS and ACLS certifications.
- Availability at the time of name clearance.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
