Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Assists in all talent acquisition efforts; prepare job postings conducting phone screens and interviews coordinating offers and assisting with new hire orientation
- Providing general administrative support to the HR department such as filing data entry or organizing documents
- Assist with employee recognition programs
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Human Resources department and other management staff
- Perform people related administration related to time and attendance system and absence reporting system
- Greets and directs visitors resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations
- Support with all company events including plant lunches recruiting events community engagement and other company meetings
- Other activities duties and responsibilities as assigned
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean organized work environment
- Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Must be entering Junior or Senior year of college and pursuing a degree in Human Resources management or related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication preferred public speaking experience
- Excellent written communication including grammatical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information and exercise discretion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Exercise good judgment in decision making ideas and all aspects relating to the SBLG team Cardinal Glass Industries and other company relationships
