About This Role:

The Senior AP Associate handles day-to-day vendor invoices processing and paying them using Concur and PeopleSoft. Primarily this position will handle US vendor invoices; however the candidate will also handle EMEA and APAC vendor invoices. The candidate should also have experience in similar companies preferably in a finance-shared service center. The successful candidate will work as part of the finance shared services team in maintaining a strong internal and external customer focus on the timely and effective delivery of the appropriate information to the proper parties.

Job Description:

• Invoice approval: Ensure that all invoices are reviewed in Concur and correctly coded including correct coding for prepaid fixed assets etc. according to the company policy.

• Unassigned invoices: Check code and assign invoices in Concur.

• Reconcile invoices from Concur to PSFT on a batch basis.

• Execute timely payment runs in PSFT for vendor invoices per company policy.

• Resolve vendor queries.

• Assist with compiling the list of accruals for the month-end close.

• Reconcile major vendor statements monthly.

• Update manuals to document all monthly procedural steps.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of accounting software applications such as Concur and PSFT is a plus.

• Strong organizational and time management skills and sharp attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.

• Effective work collaboration with other team members.

• Conduct ad hoc reporting and month-end duties.
