POSITION SUMMARY
Barton Malow is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team on a data center project near Philadelphia PA. Were looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in document control and project coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking project documentation in alignment with industry best practices.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support for resolution and tracking project issues.
- Manage all project document control.
- Process submittals and RFIs.
- Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
- Maintain project schedule.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
- Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
- Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
- Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering construction management or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.
- Industrial market experience preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours including weekends and night shifts as needed.
