Job Summary
Job Title: Project Manager
Location : Austin Texas
Work Type: is Hybrid Role ( 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote )
Duration: 12 Months of Contract
Job Description:
Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager your job is to plan budget oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.
Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by managing a project which will enhance the system to expand the reporting available to program area users.. Contractor will manage a vendor software development team and coordinate with the in house software team and collaborate with the program area to keep them informed and involved as appropriate. Contractor will manage the schedule budget and scope for this project.
Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week but this is subject to change and could increase to 5 days per week in the future
Minimum Requirements:
Exp: Minimum 15 Years of Project Management Exp is Must
Minimum 8 Years of Experience with Any State Agency is Must
Minimum 8 Years of Experience with Managing enterprise scale data management projects is Must
Minimum 5 Years of Experience working with State of Texas Agency is Must
PMP Certification is Must
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or other Agile-related certifications
Managing enterprise scale data management projects.
Managing agile projects at state or federal government agencies or similar
Knowledge and experience with common project management systems like Jira Micro Focus Project Management etc.
Experience with creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables and managing projects using this framework strongly preferred.
