The Head of Programmes will oversee the planning implementation and tracking of multiple initiatives within the organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring that all programmes align with the strategic goals of the organisation and are completed on time within scope and budget. You will partner with pillar leadership including MDs Engineering and Product Director and Heads of across P&T to deliver complex initiatives.
What you will do:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Strategic Change function ensuring alignment with Product Engineering and commercial OKRs.
- Programme Management: Oversee the planning execution and completion of complex strategic programmes (appropriate for a customer led organisation) ensuring they meet the required standards and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Programme Managers Project Managers and Business Analysts providing guidance support and performance feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including MDs Product and Engineering Leadership and the broader Performance Team.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the programme budget ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with programme delivery.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor and report on programme performance using data to drive continuous improvement. Utilise and lead existing internal forums to establish problem solving groups where needed.
- Collaborate: with Product Engineering and Performance leadership to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives.
- Process: Develop and enforce common processes methodologies and agile best practices for product and project delivery ensuring consistency efficiency and quality.

- Experienced in programme finance including budgeting forecasting financial analysis and decision-making to support strategic goals.
- Visible and strong leader capable of leading not just their team but also people across the organization.
- Expert in Risk Management identifies evaluates and manages risks by developing and implementing risk management strategies frameworks policies procedures and practices.
- Extensive experience in Resources Management acquires allocates and manages resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Technical Acumen basic technical understanding to effectively communicate with development teams and understand technical constraints.
- Advanced in Data Analysis interpreting cleaning transforming and deriving meaningful insights from complex datasets using statistical computational and visualization techniques to inform decision-making and drive actionable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management organises monitors and improves relationships with stakeholders.
- Experienced in Quality Assurance ensures that Entain is providing the best possible product to our customers.
- Well-versed in crisis management being prepared to handle unexpected challenges and crises such as game launch issues or security breaches is important for maintaining player trust.
