About the Role
As Teacher of Maths you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to contribute to A-Level Maths depending on experience and timetable. You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Fluency and accuracy in core mathematical skills
Reasoning through structured questioning and explanation
Problem-solving through guided practice and gradually increased challenge
Exam confidence through modelling purposeful practice and precise feedback
You will support learners with a range of starting points using effective scaffolding for those who need it while providing stretch and challenge for higher attainers.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Deliver well-structured lessons with clear explanations and high expectations
Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and secure progress
Build positive relationships and maintain a calm purposeful classroom culture
Work collaboratively within a supportive Maths team
