The Housekeeping Department is now recruiting for the following opportunities:
- Room Attendant/ Housekeeper
- Housekeeping Attendant
- PM/ Turndown Attendant
Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience.
Starting Rate: $19.48 per hour.
Our hotel will prioritize any candidates who are available from May September 2026
Room Attendant
- Clean and record all assigned guestrooms which include the following tasks: making beds removing trash and dirty linen retrieving clean linen dusting vacuuming replenishing amenities and returning furniture to its original positions. Pay special attention to guests belongings by pairing shoes folding clothes and ensuring all personal items are cared for. Further details are provided in the sequence of service.
- Clean guest bathrooms including all surfaces (both horizontal and vertical) sinks taps vanities tubs showers walls and toilets. Also replenish amenities as outlined in the sequence of service.
- Report any concerns related to engineering or maintenance issues health and safety security or any suspicious circumstances (including unusual smells sights or sounds).
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining a clean and organised backspace and housekeeping cart
Housekeeping Attendant
- Maintain and upkeep the backspaces including tasks such as sweeping mopping trash and recycling removal as well as stocking and organising.
- Support Room Attendants by removing dirty linen from vacant guest rooms
- Responsible for stocking linens and guest supplies in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels (this task supports and assists the Room Attendants)
- Sorting dirty linen ready for export to laundry services
- Maintain and upkeep the guest corridors and public spaces which include vacuuming dusting polishing damp dusting cleaning elevator tracks cleaning public washrooms polishing brass and removing trash.
- Responsible for cleaning dirty glassware from guestrooms and restocking clean glassware in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels
PM Turndown Attendant
- Perform evening turndown service in occupied guest rooms including tasks such as refreshing towels emptying trash closing drapes dimming lights and preparing the bed for sleep.
- Replenish in-room amenities water and other guest preferences based on brand standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with courtesy and efficiency.
- Report any maintenance issues lost & found items or room discrepancies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Monitor restock and organise housekeeping carts and closets with linens amenities and supplies
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Work well under pressure
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Physically fit and able to work well under pressure
- Able to push pull and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to bend and kneel with comfort
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
