Alongside our global campuses we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible remote-friendly ways of working for this role were focusing on Thailand so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6-month engagement working full-time hours per week.
What youd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.
As a copywriter you will play a critical role in developing truly local marketing campaigns for Thailand working with an incredible cross functional team based in Bangkok Manila Sydney & Singapore.
At the moment this role is focused on:
Creating copy for performance marketing channels including but not limited to meta tik tok & youtube
Developing copy for Canvas social media channels (TikTok Facebook Instagram)
Supporting brand campaigns for Thailand which may include scripts for videos static ads events (booth mock ups) and OOH execution
Working with our customer happiness & user voice teams to ensure that all scripts for communications with customers in Thailand is locally relevant
Youre probably a match if
Youre a native Thai speaker with business level English.
You have an excellent grasp of the Thai language - technically strong with a flair for either structured or creative style of writing (including spelling and grammatical structure).
Youre meticulous with details style and tone writing with clarity and empathy to deliver what is needed.
Youre quick with ideas coming up with original copy that can catch our users eye but can still match Canvas voice and brand guidelines.
You have an eye for social trends in Thailand and the evolving language that comes with them.
Youre able to understand a brief from stakeholders research accordingly and convert that brief into excellent copy to meet the projects needs.
Youre passionate about Canvas mission to empower the world to designand youre excited to help bring that vision to life in Thailand.
