Description

We are looking for a high-energy Account Manager to help accelerate our expansion into digital-native markets including ISVs Media & Entertainment companies and startups in Western Canada. While our core business is rooted in industry-leading network security this role is focused on driving adoption of our digital cloud and SaaS security services to a new customer segment.

This is a net-new growth role responsible for prospecting developing and closing opportunities across a defined regional territory of largely untapped accounts. Success in this role requires comfort operating at scale strong outbound skills and credibility selling modern security solutions to technical and business buyers.

Named Account Manager-Cloud you will:

  • Own and grow a regional territory of digital-native customers primarily ISVs Media & Entertainment companies and startups
  • Prospect at scale using a mix of outbound strategies (email phone LinkedIn events partner motions)
  • Engage CISOs CTOs Heads of Engineering Cloud Architects and DevOps leaders
  • Position cloud-delivered security SaaS offerings and managed digital services alongside core security platforms
  • Translate customer cloud and application designs into relevant security outcomes
  • Build pipeline from outbound lead creation and manage deals end-to-end
  • Collaborate with security engineers channel partners and marketing to drive demand
  • Forecast accurately and maintain strong CRM hygiene

We Are Looking For:

  • 58 years of B2B technology sales experience ideally in cybersecurity cloud or SaaS
  • Proven experience selling to digital-native companies (ISVs media platforms SaaS providers startups)
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and SaaS business models
  • Comfortable selling subscription-based and usage-based services
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and build pipeline at scale in a greenfield territory
  • Experience selling into fast-moving engineering-led organizations
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate value beyond features
  • Self-starter mindset with high accountability and resilience

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling security solutions beyond traditional firewalls (cloud security application security Zero Trust managed services)
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD APIs containers or cloud-native architectures
  • Experience working with channel or cloud marketplace motions

On-target earnings (OTE) for this full-time position is expected to be between $203000 - $248100 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Companys discretion.
