JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Product Support Manager oversees product support operations at the branch level including parts and service. This role oversees that warehouse operations are delivered to meet or exceed customers expectations. The Product Support Manager directs an efficient and profitable operation through productive staffing customer retention and growth cost controls achievement of objectives and supporting corporate initiatives. This is a supervisory role. Key Responsibilities Oversee Parts Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock levels for dock and door parts ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing downtime. Coordinate Service Operations Schedule and manage service technicians for dock and door maintenance and repairs ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Vendor and Supplier Relations Negotiate pricing lead times and service agreements with suppliers to optimize cost and availability. Process Improvement Implement best practices for warehouse efficiency including streamlined parts handling and service workflows. Budget and Cost Control Monitor expenses related to parts and service operations ensuring adherence to budget targets. Team Leadership Train mentor and supervise warehouse staff and service technicians to maintain high performance and safety standards. Compliance and Safety Ensure all operations comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Customer Service Support Act as a liaison for internal and external customers resolving issues related to dock and door parts and service promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong knowledge of dock and door systems and related parts.
- Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in management developing teams and leading people.
- Minimum 5 years of parts or warehousing experience
