Inside Sales / Customer Service Position
Our client is a pioneering manufacturer of institutional-grade cabinet locks in North America. They provide a comprehensive range of keyways and cabinet lock solutions tailored for commercial and institutional facilities. They are currently seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service professional to serve as the primary point of contact for their customers ensuring industry-leading service that consistently exceeds expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Phone
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with order or product-related questions.
- Convert customer inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Relay pertinent information to the appropriate team members (engineering sales etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Computer
- Develop proficiency with internal software programs including Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP) Outlook Word Excel Sage ACT (CRM) Slack Google Chrome Notion and others.
- Enter orders in NAV quickly completely and accurately. Use NAV to check stock levels part numbers existing order status tracking information estimated lead times etc.
- Utilize Outlook to communicate with customers team members and vendors.
- Engage in basic use of Word and Excel for viewing and editing existing documents or creating new ones.
- Acquire knowledge of the company website and online resources for personal use in learning the product line and assisting customers with their queries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous inside sales and/or customer service experience.
- A willingness to assist customers with problems challenges and opportunities.
- A commitment to punctual attendance in an office environment (this is not a work-from-home position).
- A team player mentality.
- Demonstrable understanding of order-entry software basic Microsoft Office product knowledge etc.
- Must pass pre-hire drug and nicotine tests.
