Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant who enjoys hands-on patient care teamwork and working in a clinic where people actually respect what you bring to the table Colonial Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate reliable veterinary assistant to join our close-knit privately owned practice.

Our days are structured with surgery in the mornings and appointments in the afternoons giving you variety skill growth and meaningful patient and client interaction throughout the day.

What Youll Do
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments and procedures
- Support surgical cases by preparing patients equipment and treatment areas
- Restrain patients safely and compassionately
- Perform basic patient care treatments and monitoring
- Help with in-house lab work cleaning and stocking
- Educate and support clients under the guidance of the medical team
- Keep treatment exam and surgical areas organized and running efficiently
What Were Looking For
- Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Strong comfort with patient handling and restraint
- Willingness to learn and grow clinically
- A compassionate dependable team-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced but supportive environment
