The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firms data and analytics journey. As a Principal Technical Program/Release Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Chief Data Analytics - Fusion Team you will lead complex multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm including clients employees and stakeholders. The Release Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and overseeing the deployment of software releases across environments. This role ensures releases are delivered on time with minimal disruption and in alignment with business and technical requirements.
Job responsibilities
- Develops and manages release schedules timelines and milestones in coordination with development QA and operations teams.
- Oversees the end-to-end release process including planning build deployment and post-release validation.
- Coordinates release activities across multiple teams and environments ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Identifies manages and mitigates risks associated with releases.
- Maintains release documentation including release notes deployment plans and rollback procedures.
- Ensures compliance with change management and governance policies.

- Facilitates release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 7 years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Proven experience in release management software deployment or DevOps.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with release automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and risk management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins Git Jira Spinnaker ServiceNow etc.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- Experienced with AWS cloud services including deployment management and optimization of scalable and secure infrastructure.
