Were looking for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner/ People and Culture Advisor who is a true generalist with the capability to partner with leaders across a diverse high performing organisation.

In this influential role youll work closely with senior leaders and managers to deliver pragmatic people-centred solutions across the full employee lifecycle. Youll balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery supporting leaders to navigate complexity build capability and foster high-performing inclusive teams.

Youll be at the heart of Visit Victorias people agenda contributing to workforce planning organisational development change initiatives compliance activities and culture-shaping work while also providing expert advice across employee relations performance engagement and wellbeing.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety and challenges values relationships and brings sound judgement empathy and commercial thinking to every conversation.

About you

Youre a confident and adaptable P&C generalist who builds credibility quickly and thrives in a partnership model. You bring resilience sound judgment and emotional intelligence and are comfortable supporting leaders through complex people challenges. You know how to tailor your approach to different stakeholders and situations.

Youll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a People & Culture Business Partner/Advisor (or similar) supporting leaders across a broad range of employee lifecycle matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence coach and challenge leaders constructively.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations performance management workforce planning and organisational change.
  • A pragmatic solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance risk compliance and culture.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to navigate sensitive conversations and complex issues.
  • A collaborative values-driven approach and a genuine passion for creating positive employee experiences.
  • Strong personal resilience with the ability to stay composed pragmatic and effective in the face of change pressure and competing demands.
