About the role:

St Vincents Private Hospital Northside is currently looking forexperienced Support Services Assistantsto join our team. Working in a dynamic fast-paced setting environment.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas including wards and operating theatres.
Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned restocked and stored correctly.
Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.

Ability to work a variety of casual shifts including weekends and evenings as required
Demonstrated knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and use of equipment
Outstanding hygiene standards and a basic understanding of infection control
An understanding of safe work procedures and practice including manual handling
A strong customer service focus
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised whilst working towards tight deadlines
